Internet Week New York, taking place May 20-27, 2013, was launched in 2008 in cooperation with the New York Mayor's Office of Media and Entertainment. Celebrating the crossroads of where business, culture and technology meet, IWNY attracts more than 45,000 attendees, across all sectors, going to 300+ events produced by IWNY and 150+ citywide event partners. The IWNY HQ at Chelsea’s Metropolitan Pavilion will see 10,000 digital executives, CMOs, journalists, influencers, creatives and developers for four days (May 20-23) of celebrity keynotes, targeted content tracks, simultaneous conferences, lively panel discussions, networking events, and hands-on learning in an interactive classroom. Beyond that, there is the IWNY HQ’s legendary opening and closing night parties, networking events, movie screenings, gawk-worthy digital art displays and demos of the newest, most groundbreaking tech products. Bridging the digital divide and empowering small businesses to get online are the themes for IWNY 2013.
